Dr. Rajesh Kumar has extensive experience in Biophysics and Biophotonics. At
present, he is deputed in NASA/JPL, USA. He obtained PhD. degree in PHYSICS
(Biophysics and Medical Technology), Master's and Bachelor's degree in
PHOTONICS. He worked in MIT, USA and, as Marie-Curie Researcher in UK
(EU/FP7). Previously, he also worked as Visiting Research Fellow in
Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU-South Korea), Tata Institute of Fundamental
Research (TIFR-Mumbai), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Madras) and Indian
Institute of Science (IISc-Bangalore). He is the recipient of Health
Authority of Central Norway-Research Grant (2015-2018), HMN-Mobility Research
Grant (2017), Internationalization of Medical Technology Grant (2013) and,
Medical Imaging Research and Travel Grant (MedIm-2012). He is also the
recipient of a few other prestigious Fellowships and Awards in Norway, UK,
South-Korea and in India including The SPIE-International award, USA. He has
achieved the professional status of Associate Fellow of the Higher Education
Academy (HEA), United Kingdom. He serves as a peer-reviewer for several
Scientific Journals and Research Grants. He also served as Judge panel member
of Intel-ISEF Grand Award and California State Science Fair Award in the USA.
