Lattices built from magnetostatically-interacting nanomagnets can be used as
model systems to study emergent correlations in artificial spin ices as well
as to employed for thermally-assisted computation schemes. In this talk, I
will give an introduction on how to design, manufacture, and measure
artificial spin systems, and will present plans on how to implement
thermoplasmonic heating schemes for nanomagnetic logic.
