Application of Plasmonic Nanoparticles in Self-assembly and All-metal Photochemistry Tremendous progress over the past decades in the synthesis of metallic nanocrystals emerged library of particles with precisely controlled sizes, shapes and surface chemistry. Today, the particles serve as chemical ingredients in the variety of catalytic transformations or as building blocks in hierarchical self-assembly. In the first part of the talk, we will exploit hydrophobic forces to self-organise plasmonic nanoparticles into clusters of different sizes and shapes. In the second part, we will discuss plasmon- assisted photoregeneration of cofactor molecules (NADH) using differently shaped gold nanoparticles as a photocatalyst **Host** : Alexander Bittner
