Early in my career, I was given the fascinating challenge of transforming complex spectral fingerprints into meaningful biological insights (1). This journey took me from uncovering hidden cross-talk communication in cancer microenvironments (2) to developing novel quality control methods in bioprocesses (3). In this talk, I will revisit some of my past findings, connect them with present opportunities, and sketch a vision of a future now taking shape, one where the rise of AI and the shift toward Biopharma 4.0 open fresh opportunities for turning light into lasting impact.
