Technology Transfer at nanoGUNE: an overview of the activities and the results

The Technology Transfer Plan implemented in 2020 has given tangible results: nanoGUNE's client portfolio was doubled in the period 2019-2020 and has kept the values since then. 11 new license contracts were closed in the period 2019-2021, thus increasing the invoicing through licensing by nearly a factor of ten. As per today, nanoGUNE has a portfolio of 31 patent families, 18 of them already licensed and exploited by companies. On regards of start ups´ activity, nanoGUNE counts with 5 startups at the moment and is working on two more projects to launch shortly. Some of these results will be highlighted during the seminar along with the description of the procedures and strategies that have been worked out to support the tech transfer activities.
