Quantum Statistical Plasmonic Metacrystals for Room- Temperature Quantum Technologies

Surface plasmons provide a unique platform for exploring many-body quantum physics at the nanoscale. In this seminar, I will show how multiparticle coherence governs the dynamics of plasmonic systems and how these effects can be exploited to engineer room-temperature quantum materials. Specifically, I will describe materials exhibiting allowed and forbidden quantum statistical bands that selectively transport light according to its coherence properties, opening new opportunities for robust quantum technologies and coherence-sensitive photonic materials.
