Questions in Art and Science Edwin van der Heide is both working as an independent artist and as a lecturer and researcher at Leiden University. His original background is in composition of electronic music. In his artworks he extends musical composition and musical language into spatial, interactive and interdisciplinary directions. In this lecture Edwin van der Heide will illustrate how questions drive the development of his artistic work, and talk about his work in the Media Technology MSc programme and research group that focuses on scientific research originating from personally inspired questions.
