Sub-10 nm continuous metal films are promising candidates for flexible and
transparent nanophotonics and optoelectronics applications. Here, we present a
detailed study on structural, optical, and electrical properties of metal
films depending on deposition regimes and their thicknesses. The results
obtained can advance the use of high-quality ultra-thin metal films for
fabrication of vdW heterostructures and as transparent electrodes for
optoelectronic devices.
