Topological nanophotonics In this talk, I will discuss some of my recent work in topological nanophotonics, a growing field which seeks to exploit ideas from geometry and topology in order to control light at the nanoscale. In particular, I will introduce a model of topological plasmons in a chain of metallic nanoparticles, and I will discuss the interplay between the topological nature of the collective excitations and various effects, including: long-range interactions, collective Lamb shifts, and strong light-matter coupling in a cavity. Our model has implications for important concepts in topological matter, including the celebrated bulk-edge correspondence. Hosts: Alexey Nikitin and Juan Jose Saenz
