Science and art have enjoyed a fruitful relationship throughouot the centuries, born out of our efforts to represent and make sense of the world around us. We will reflect on the similarities and differences between art and science as well as their interrelationship in today's education and culture. Kristjan Leosson has a background in applied nanotechnology and photonics research, but has also participated in a number of art/science-related projects, including Björk's Biophilia Educational Project, in addition to lecturing in the visual arts and design departments at the Iceland Academy of the Arts.
