Neutron diffraction and functional materials for energy

In this seminar I will briefly introduce a wide variety of materials for energy that our group in UCM studies using several neutron diffraction techniques for different purposes. This includes high pressure in-situ experiments for magnetocaloric materials, high and low temperature thermodiffraction experiments for magnetic and thermoelectric materials, and in-operando experiments to study the structural modification upon electrochemical cycling of cathode materials within Li-ion batteries.
