This workshop is intended for all scientific staff (no technical background required) and explores how AI can enhance the seven stages of research: discovery, implementation, analysis, writing, publication, outreach and evaluation.
Part 1: General presentation at CFM Auditorium, 9:00 to 11:00
LLMs will be explained, covering their pitfalls and privacy risks, and several AI tools useful for research will be introduced.
Attendance is open to all CFM and DIPC members until full capacity is reached.
Part 2: Hands-on session
Participants will experience how AI can help time management and quality improvement by using the right tools to identify research gaps, perform data analysis, draft manuscripts, and improve the impact and visibility of their work. Guided hands-on assignments will be available, but participants will also be able to choose their own tasks.
Three sessions will take place, each limited to 20 participants:
- 11:00 to 13:00, CFM Auditorium
- 13:30 to 15:30, DIPC Josebe Olarra Auditorium (Building 1)
- 15:30 to 17:30, DIPC Josebe Olarra Auditorium (Building 1)
