Screening of the documentary "El secreto de la naturaleza" and interview with Pedro Miguel Etxenike in Bergara
"El secreto de la Naturaleza" (José A. Pérez Ledo, 2018)

The documentary "El secreto de la Naturaleza" ("The secret of Nature") directed by Antonio Pérez Ledo and produced by the Chair of Scientific Culture at the University of the Basque Country (EHU), will be screened in Bergara on Wednesday, February 4.

The film traces the life and work of Pedro Miguel Etxenike, Professor of Condensed Matter Physics at the EHU and President of DIPC. With a running time of 55 minutes, the documentary presents the protagonist's reflections on science to the audience, asking what it is, what it consists of, and why it is so important, in a friendly and intimate tone.

The director of the Chair of Scientific Culture at the EHU, Iker Badiola, will be in charge of presenting the documentary. After the screening, there will be an interview-discussion between Pedro Miguel Etxenike and Rosa Errazkin, director of the Laboratorium Museum.

The event is organized by the cultural association Goienagusi Kultur Elkartea, Laboratorium Museum, DIPC, and the Chair of Scientific Culture at the EHU, with the support of the Basque Government's Department of Science, Universities, and Innovation.

The event can be attended in person or via streaming on the Goienagusi Kultur Elkartea channel.

Admission is free until full capacity is reached, with priority access for Goienagusi members.
