The STEAM Euskadi education strategy promoted by the Basque Government aims to promote scientific-technical education and training at all educational stages. This strategy seeks to inspire vocations and professional aspirations in the STEAM field and to promote the dissemination and scientific-technological culture among Basque citizens with the involvement of socio-economic agents.
Within the framework of this initiative, the DIPC proposes the activity “Gravitating bodies: How to integrate art and science” in which students are approached to science and technology through the inclusion of art and creativity. The cosmology research group of the DIPC develops creative and performative group dynamics in the classroom to help students understand and experience concepts related to the gravitational field.
In the academic year 2024-2025 the activity will be organized in two schools.
