12th Capri Spring School on Transport in Nanostructures 2016

This one week school will provide several three to four hour lectures by leading experts supplemented by a few shorter seminars.
As usual, the conference venue is Centro Multimediale “Mario Cacace” of Comune di Anacapri, and accommodation will be provided in nearby hotels. While the school is primarily aimed at instructing PhD students and young postdoctoral researchers, more senior scientists who want to acquaint themselves with the subject of the school are also welcome.

List of Lecturers:

Yaroslav Blanter (Delft)
Christoph Bruder (Basel)
Yuval Gefen (Weizmann)
Steve Girvin (Yale)
Leo Kouwenhoven (Delft)
Jukka Pekola (Aalto)
Jason Petta (Princeton)

The school comprises five working days (April 11 - 15). The registration fee of 890 Euro includes accommodation in a double room for seven nights from Sunday till Sunday; five dinners, starting with a welcome dinner on Sunday, twice daily coffee breaks at the conference venue and the excursion to Pompeii.
Single room accommodation is possible at a surcharge of 340 Euro.
Accompanying persons in a shared double room can be accommodated for a rate of 500 Euro —this covers accommodation for seven nights, five dinners and the excursion.

Twelve fellowships for first and second year PhD students with a topic of their doctoral thesis closely related to the school focus will also be available. The fellowships cover half of the school registration fee for standard accommodation in a shared double room.

Registration deadline: December 13, 2015.
