Prespectives in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology

This is the announcement for the 20th Symposium on Surface Science (3S’07), which will take place at the L'Aiguille Rouge Hotel in Les Arcs 2000, France from March 11 to March 17, 2007. The topics of 3S’07 will include all aspects of Surface Science as, e.g.

Surface structure
Surface reactions
Particle-surface interactions
Epitaxial growth
Adsorption and desorption
Applications of surface science

These fields will be covered by contributed oral talks and poster sessions.

About the speaker

The aim of this multidisciplinary workshop is to assess the state of the art in the current understanding of nanoscale physics, chemistry, engineering, biology, and medicine, and to access the knowledge and advice from leader scientists in these fields. We also intend to discuss emerging applications with potentially significant impact for the materials, electronic, photonics, and life-science industries, and to debate about the current strategy and perspectives in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
