At a ceremony held today in Zaragoza, the Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC) received the ‘Severo Ochoa’ seal of scientific excellence, an accreditation that will allow it to attract talent and develop its strategic lines of research in the coming years.

The ‘Severo Ochoa’ and ‘María de Maeztu’ seals of excellence, awarded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities through the State Research Agency (AEI), aim to fund and accredit research centres and units, in any scientific area, that have highly competitive frontier research programmes and that promote a strategic plan for the future to continue advancing along the path of excellence.
