DIPC launches the HER initiative to host outstanding female researchers
DIPC has launched the HER initiative (Hosting Excellent Researchers), a Visiting Female Researcher Program designed to promote women's participation in scientific research and to advance and strengthen their research careers through short-term research stays.
The initiative is open to both senior researchers with tenured positions and early-career researchers who obtained their PhD between 2022 and 2024. Selected candidates will be able to undertake stays of between one and five months at the center’s facilities in Donostia / San Sebastián, with financial support to cover travel, accommodation, and living expenses.
DIPC is known for offering an international, multidisciplinary, and inclusive environment, as well as professional development opportunities in physics and related disciplines. Applications must include a curriculum vitae and a letter of motivation describing the research project to be carried out.
The call for applications will remain open until December 31, 2026, or until available funds are exhausted. Applications must be sent to jobs.research@dipc.org with the reference “HER 2026”.
