Norway, World War II. A commando is on a mission to sabotage the Rjukan heavy water production plant in central Norway, which is meant to supply the Nazis with an essential element for making an atomic bomb.

First Silvina Cerveny will give a presentation and after the screening there will be a question and answer session.

About the speaker

Silvina Cerveny.jpg

Silvina Cerveny is a researcher at the Materials Physics Center (CSIC-UPV/EHU) in San Sebastian and DIPC associate. Doctor in Physics from the University of Buenos Aires, she has done research stays in Sweden, the United States, Israel, and Germany. Cerveny has been researching the dynamics and structure of water and its interactions with polymers and organic molecules for more than 20 years.
