Norway, World War II. A commando is on a mission to sabotage the Rjukan heavy water production plant in central Norway, which is meant to supply the Nazis with an essential element for making an atomic bomb.

First Didier Roux will give a presentation and after the screening there will be a question and answer session.

About the speaker

Didier Roux was born in 1955, is an alumnus of ENS Saint-Cloud and a member of the CNRS from 1980 to 2005. He was deputy scientific director of Rhône Poulenc and then Rhodia between 1997 and 2005. Between 2005 and 2017, he was Director of R&D and Innovation for the Saint-Gobain Group. He is president of Unitec and president of the La Main à la Pâte foundation.
