Synopsis of the film:
In a distant future, after an apocalyptic war, the Earth is overrun by poisonous fungi and gigantic insects. Humanity has been decimated, and the survivors live in isolated settlements, barely managing to survive amid forests filled with toxic gases and mutant insects.

Juan Bosco Imbert Rodríguez is a researcher and professor of ecology at the Public University of Navarre (UPNA). After the screening, there will be the usual discussion session during which attendees can ask questions.

About the speaker

Juan Bosco Imbert Rodriguez is a biologist who has researched river ecology in Montana, Minnesota, the Basque Country, and Navarre. Since joining the Public University of Navarre, he has been studying long-term changes in the functioning and biodiversity of two forests in the Navarrese Pyrenees, and their response to climate change and forest management. He is passionate about teaching, training future secondary school teachers, and scientific outreach.
