The film focuses on astrophysicist Stephen Hawking's relationship with his first wife over their 25-year marriage, with a particular emphasis on their shared struggle with the scientist's degenerative illness.

First Aran Garcia Lekue will give a presentation and after the screening there will be a question and answer session.

About the speaker

Aran García Lekue is Ikerbasque researcher at DIPC. She has a degree in Physics and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the UPV/EHU. Her research comprises the development and application of computational tools for the simulation of electronic quantum properties at the nanoscale. Her main research lines in recent years have been focused on molecular electronics and low-dimensional materials, specifically on graphene nanostructures. These materials have a great future in nanoelectronics and quantum computing.
