In 1984, a fishing boat sank in Iceland's North Sea in the middle of winter. Nobody could have survived such temperatures, but, inexplicably, one man did.
First Anna Rubio will give a brief presentation and after the screening there will be a question and answer session.

About the speaker
Anna Rubio holds a PhD in Physical Oceanography, and she is a Principal Researcher and the Coordinator of the Operational Oceanography group at AZTI. Her scientific work focuses on the study of (sub)mesoscale ocean variability, based on different sources of in-situ data, remote sensing and numerical models. She has supervised several PhD and MSc theses, participated in numerous scientific articles and projects, as well as in oceanographic campaigns and scientific dissemination events.
