Materials Science Workshop for students by CFM and DIPC — Materials Science Workshop organized by CIC nanoGUNE, CFM and DIPC within the WeekINN 2022.

In the framework of the Innovation Week WeekINN organized by Fomento San Sebastian between October 25 and 31, the CFM and DIPC research centers will offer a materials science workshop in Santo Tomas Lizeoa.

The MATERIALS workshop introduces basic concepts about matter, nanoscience and quantum physics, and will feature the following researchers from our research centers: Irene Vettori, Theoretical and Computational Chemistry (CFM), Marco Gobbi, Nanophysics Lab (CFM) and Shayan Edalatmanesh, Spin physics in graphene-based systems (DIPC).

During the meeting, students will learn first-hand about the careers and research of the invited scientists, who will also conduct curious experiments to demonstrate some of the fascinating properties we use to create new materials on demand.
