The objective of this informative program with monthly meetings will be to try to bring the most cutting-edge research in the area of astronomy and cosmology to the public, in a truthful and more understandable way for the general public.

Virginia Garcia and Eduardo Zubia will be in charge of these informative sessions, which will be open and free of charge to the public and will last approximately 90 minutes. They will include a brief description of the sky that will be visible during the following month. The most remarkable astronomical objects will be presented by analyzing astrophotographs taken by citizen scientists and the most important news about astronomy and astronautics will be discussed. In addition, researchers will be invited to talk about their own work.

Interview of the month: Bittor Zabalegi

He is an astrophotographer and we will talk about his projects, from his beginnings with the northern lights in Norway, to the launching of a remote observatory in Badajoz with his colleagues of the Far Light Team.

The sessions will be streamed, recorded and posted on YouTube for those who wish to view them at a later date.
