Optical antennas enabled the control of light matter interactions at the nanoscale in the recent past. This unprecedented ability facilitated the development of innovative microscopy and spectroscopy techniques that outperformed their classical counterparts by orders of magnitude. The aim of this particular project is to design an optical antenna that will permit the control on not only of the intensity of light but also its polarization and angular momentum properties. These new capabilities would endow optical antennas with new degrees of freedom, probably facilitating the spectroscopic and microscopic exploration of chiral properties of matter with nanoscale resolution.
