Massless Kane Fermions in the Topological insulator HgCdTe

We plan to calculate the energy dispersion of massless Kane fermions in HgCdTe via an analytical k*p model. This results is compared with one obtained from ab initio calculation. Comparisons between the two approaches and plan for further calculation are considered at the end of the internship.
