Nano and micro photonic systems as molecular sensing platforms

In this Project we will explore the molecular sensing capabilities of different micro and nanoscale photonic technologies such as optical antennas and optical fibers. The aim of this project is to design an optical sensing device that will outperform existing similar sensing devices.

This internship is framed in a collaborative endeavor of multiple research institutions of the Basque country. In particular, the student will work In collaboration with researchers from the DIPC, Tecnalia and the Applied Photonics Group at EHU-UPV. This summer internship will offer the student an excellent opportunity to carry out a research project in a multi disciplinary environment.
