Inelastic scattering and photoemission in crystalline solids

In this project, the student will participate in several experiments of inelastic x-ray scattering and angle resolved photoemission in large scale facilities, like synchrotrons. He/she will travel to ALBA (Barcelona) and ESRF (Grenoble) and will take part on the data adquisition and analysis. He/she will learn the basics of synchrotron radiation and will have the opportunity to interact with leading scientists in the field.
