Synopsis of the film:
Although electronic music has long been viewed as a male dominated field, women have played a fundamental role since the genre’s earliest days, designing new devices, techniques and styles that define its sound today.

Guest scientist and format:
Mónica Bello is an art historian and curator, recently appointed director of Platform Dalí. After the screening, there will be the usual discussion session during which attendees can ask questions.

Lorea Argarate Zubia (Bilbao, 1990) is a telecommunications engineer, group entrepreneur (TAZEBAEZ S.COOP) and science communicator. In 2024, she won the Gladys award for her innovative processes in digitalising education and for incorporating a gender perspective into the promotion of science and technology. She also combines her technical side with art projects related to electronic music and technology. In addition, she collaborates with the UEU’s technology programs.
