Synopsis of the film:
It’s the start of the Cold War in Vienna, 1947. American Holly Martins, a mediocre writer of Western novels, arrives in the Austrian capital, now divided into four zones occupied by the Second World War’s Allied powers. He has come to visit Harry Lime, a childhood friend who has promised him a job.

Miren Itziar Alkorta Calvo is Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in the University of the Basque Country (EHU). Her research
aims to find solutions to antibiotic resistance. After the screening, there will be the usual discussion session during which attendees can ask questions.

Miren Itzar Alkorta Calvo is Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in the University of the Basque Country (EHU). Her research aims to find solutions to antibiotic resistance. She has published more than 100 research articles and led numerous research projects. She was recently
recognized by Stanford University as one of the top 2% most influential scientists in the world. She has held positions of responsibility at the university (Vice Dean, Director of the Biofisika Institute) and is currently Director of General Research Services (SGIker) at EHU.
