Kimikoteka

To mark the 150th anniversary of the periodic table celebrated internationally, DIPC has created KIMIKOTEKA, a project that celebrates the importance and beauty of the periodic table.

To this end, a very special collection of wines has been designed based on the chemical elements of the periodic table to explain the different chemical, physical and biological processes.

Chemist Juan José Iruin compiled a list of 118 wines by searching for matches with the acronyms of the chemical elements:

The DIPC completed this very special collection with the collaboration of the Rekondo Jatetxea and Goñi Ardoteka, who have lent the bottles on display in the exhibition.
