Passion for Knowledge
More information in the festival website:

The Passion for Knowledge festival promotes science as an essential activity for the well-being of future generations. The multifaceted event has been designed as a true festival of knowledge that takes place every three years and is spreading throughout the Basque Country. The last edition, which was held before the pandemic, in 2019, was attended by over 11,800 spectators who enjoyed all kinds of free activities.
Among those participating in this great festival are leading scientists who have been behind some of the most relevant discoveries of recent years. Attending the public conferences at the Victoria Eugenia Theatre (San Sebastian), the Guggenheim Museum (Bilbao) or Baluarte (Pamplona) and keep learning alongside Nobel Prize winners and world-class experts, is a luxury within everyone's reach.
In addition to the plenary lectures, the extensive programme includes activities for different audiences: workshops with secondary school students and scientists, Naukas sessions, exhibitions, children's workshops, shows, screenings, etc.
The upcoming edition will be celebrated from October 2 to 7, 2023.
