Donostia, Zientzia Hiria

Donostia Kultura programme, in collaboration with the DIPC and the UPV/EHU Chair of Scientific Culture

San Sebastian's most characteristic topics and places are examined under the magnifying glass of science as part of Donostia, Zientzia Hiria, a new programme of Donostia Kultura with the support of the Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC) and the Chair of Scientific Culture of the UPV/EHU.

Okendo Kultur Etxea was the main venue of the first edition dedicated to Surf and Science, due to its strong roots in the city and its surroundings, and for the various and interesting processes that can be examined under the light of different scientific disciplines.

From the second edition onwards, the Donostia, Zientzia Hiria programme joined the San Telmo Museoa Challenges line, thus becoming a collaborative project between Donostia Kultura, San Telmo Museoa, the DIPC and the Chair of Scientific Culture of the UPV/EHU.

Donostia, Zientzia Hiria aims at becoming an annual highlight that summons neighbors and visitors, to enjoy the science behind city icons and to discover the top science carried out in San Sebastian.
